Volunteer as an NCO KEY Mentor!
Every year, our KEY Youth Restorative Justice Program invites youth in Bronzeville to participate in the mentoring component of our program. The goal of mentoring is to have a bonus adult who will walk alongside them during the school year, build a restorative relationship, and check in on a regular basis. Mentors are asked to attend quarterly trainings, three in-person events with their mentees, and check in with mentees on a weekly basis via text/phone/email. If this is something you are interested in and can commit to from November 2026 through May 2027, please reach out to Kate Carter (kate@newcommunityoutreach.org) no later than Friday, October 9th. An initial call and application are required as part of the onboarding process.
